We have an exciting opportunity within our Student Mental Health, Counselling and Therapies Service for an experienced and registered/accredited Mental Health Practitioner. You should be a natural collaborator and have the vital skills and ability to collaborate with a number of key partners. You will be confident holding your authority, with experience in assessing mental health difficulties, including the assessment and management of risk. Ideally, you will have experience of managing staff and have a keen curiosity about wider wellbeing activities.
Student Mental health Counselling and Therapies Service is a confidential service for students with ongoing or persistent mental health difficulties. This post will be responsible for the line management and day-to-day delivery, operation and development of our faculty based wellbeing advisors. You will play a key role in developing and strengthening our wellbeing offer, ensuring it collaborates with faculties well and is supporting, improving, and complementing our current clinical offer. This will ensure supporting with holding and maintaining clear boundaries between clinical and non-clinical activities as well as ensuring there is a healthy balance between our asset and deficit interventions. In addition to this, you will support and contribute to our clinical offer.
You will utilise your clinical and leadership skills to integrate the wellbeing team into Student Mental Health Counselling and Therapies Service. Come and join our friendly team!
