Role: Transformation Manager

Location: Sheffield, UK (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office)

Type: Full-time / Contract (Subcon) - 12 Months

Rate: £375 per day - InsideIR35

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Transformation Manager to lead strategic infrastructure transformation within Enterprise Infrastructure. The focus will be on infrastructure standardisation—remediating non-standard implementations, strengthening governance, and ensuring robust support models are in place.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure transformation programmes


• Develop business cases in collaboration with platform leads and architects


• Create and manage detailed project plans, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and budgets


• Engage with vendors to secure external resources where necessary


• Facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical teams


• Represent programmes and projects at steering committees and senior forums


• Define and agree on plans to transition projects into BAU (business-as-usual) operations

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven track record of delivering large-scale technology transformation initiatives


• Strong blend of technical knowledge and programme management expertise


• Solid understanding of infrastructure and its integration with applications/services


• Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder influencing skills at all levels


• Experience in commercial/vendor partnerships to deliver project outcomes


• Skilled in managing budgets, resources, and project governance


• Customer-first approach with a focus on delivering value
