We’re Hiring: Financial Director | Elderly Care Sector

Are you a strategic financial leader with a passion for making a difference in people’s lives? We’re looking for an experienced Financial Director to join a forward-thinking elderly care organisation and play a key role in driving financial excellence, supporting high-quality care delivery, and influencing long-term growth.

About the Role:

As Financial Director, you will report directly to the CEO and be part of the senior leadership team. You’ll be responsible for leading the financial strategy across the business, overseeing financial planning and analysis, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting operational performance across a portfolio of care homes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cash flow management

Provide commercial insight and guidance to support strategic decision-making

Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards

Partner with operational leaders to drive performance and efficiency across the homes

Oversee relationships with auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders

Support the Board with key financial reports, analysis, and business planning

What We’re Looking For:

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent)

Proven track record in a senior financial role, ideally within the care, healthcare or multi-site service sector

Strong leadership and communication skills

Commercially minded with a hands-on approach

Passion for quality care and values-driven leadership
