Job Title: Senior & Principal EIA Consultants

Location: Remote (UK-based, with occasional client or office visits)

Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £60,000

Shape a more sustainable future. Join a growing, mission-driven environmental consultancy.

My client are looking for experienced Senior and Principal Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Consultants to join a well-established, UK-wide environmental consultancy working across infrastructure, energy, water, transport, and development sectors.

This is a remote-first role, with flexibility to suit your lifestyle and occasional site or office meetings. You’ll be joining a friendly, expert-led team that blends deep technical skills in ecology, heritage, landscape, air quality, and other natural sciences — all committed to delivering high-quality, meaningful environmental outcomes.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading or supporting EIA delivery for a wide range of UK projects

  • Coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and managing project timelines and budgets

  • Engaging directly with clients and stakeholders

  • Contributing to business development and mentoring junior staff

  • Helping clients understand and navigate planning regimes (TCPA, DCO, etc.)

What we're looking for:

Senior EIA Consultant:

  • 4+ years’ consultancy experience in EIA

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Project management and client liaison experience

  • IEMA or CIEEM membership (or similar)

Principal EIA Consultant:

  • 7+ years’ EIA consultancy experience

  • Proven track record managing and delivering complex EIA projects

  • Leadership skills and experience mentoring others

  • In-depth knowledge of relevant environmental law and planning frameworks

Why join us?

  • Work remotely from anywhere in the UK

  • Be part of a supportive, values-driven team with a personal, not corporate feel

  • Access a diverse project portfolio across major sectors

  • Flexible working arrangements and a strong focus on wellbeing

  • Opportunities for progression and continued professional development

Benefits include:

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (with additional days for long service)

  • Matched pension contributions

  • Health cash plan and employee perks scheme

  • Paid professional memberships

  • Two paid volunteer days per year

  • Cycle to Work scheme
