About the Job:

1. Supporting the clinical team to deliver high-quality care to patients and their families.


2. Assisting with auditing and stock checks as required.


3. Participating in regular meetings and attending other meetings as requested.


4. Undertaking skill set appropriate tasks as required.


5. Assisting in maintaining stock levels, including pharmaceutical products.


6. Being aware of waste management policies and ensuring compliance.


7. Receiving and conveying information from telephone or personal enquiries courteously and greeting visitors in a welcoming manner.


8. Supporting the clinical team and clerical staff in administrative duties as needed.


9. Using the Health Care Assistant competency framework to develop skills in the clinical area.


10. Practicing safe moving and handling as taught in training.


11. Keeping up to date with mandatory training.


12. Maintaining effective communication with patients, staff, and the wider MDT.


13. Reporting and investigating incidents, near misses, and complaints, escalating issues when necessary.


14. Ensuring a safe clinical environment and following escalation procedures for risks.


15. Working independently and as part of a team.
