Are you an immediately available finance professional seeking the latest opportunities in Sheffield? We’re recruiting on the behalf of a fantastic business based in South Sheffield who are looking for a Purchase Ledger to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis.

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk for this business, you will have sole responsibility over the businesses’ purchase ledger and report directly into the businesses’ Finance Manager. This role is ideal for candidates who can confidently and independently complete tasks, and who have prior experience completing similar duties.

The duties of this end-to-end Purchase Ledger role includes the following:

• 3-way matching




• Assist with payment runs




• Code supplier invoices




• Keep Excel spreadsheet up to date




• Conduct statement reconciliations

If you have the following skills & attributes, you should enquire about this role:

• Previous experience in a similar role




• Proficient in keeping documentation up to date




• Proficient in a range of financial systems, including Excel
