As part of this programme of work our plant and equipment will be modernised over the next 10 years, creating new opportunities for the business and our colleagues.

Based at our 64-acre site, sitting in the heart of Sheffield, we are looking for a Maintenance Electrician. This rolewill involve working aspart of the maintenance team, carrying out repairs and planned maintenance within our Melting department.

Role Responsibilities

• Planned, preventative and predictive maintenance of all plant equipment.


• Support with equipment breakdowns and new equipment Installations.


• Maintainmaintenance records and documentation.


• Undertake root cause analysis to prevent future breakdowns.


• Drive continuous improvement within the department.


• Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the Planning of maintenance work is completed

About You

The following relevant skills, knowledge and experience are required.

Apprentice trained and previous experience in a similar role.

Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical diagnostic and development capability.

Electronic and CNC controls diagnostics capability and experience (Siemens, Fanuc, etc.).

Experience of machine tool processes, fault diagnostics, analysis and countermeasure implementation including multi skilled working practices and capabilities.

Comfortable working in aheavy manufacturing or 'hot working’ environment.
