If so, GSL Education are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant school in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and confident in managing a classroom. You will be responsible for delivering pre-set lesson plans, maintaining a positive learning environment, and ensuring students stay engaged in their studies
Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor:
Supervise and deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects
Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a productive learning environment
Support students in their learning and encourage engagement
Adapt to different classrooms and year groups as needed
Report any student progress or concerns to teaching staff
Requirements:
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage a classroom with confidence and enthusiasm
A passion for education and working with young people
Previous experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential)
An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
An up-to-date CV covering last 10 years with explaining every gaps
