Sr Product Manager EU FBA, EU FBA Defects and Seller Reimbursements

Today, more than 58% of worldwide purchases from Amazon are made from third-party businesses. That’s $160B in sales, mostly from Small- and Medium-sized businesses. Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) enables these businesses (our Selling Partners) to handle warehousing, payment processing, delivery, returns, and customer service, leveraging Amazon's 25 years of capabilities. Selling Partners can list and sell across all European sites from a single account, allowing them to focus on product development and marketing.

Amazon seeks a creative, dynamic, and experienced Process Improvement Specialist to join the EU FBA Seller Experience and Reimbursements team, focusing on reducing the Cost of Customer Returns and eliminating Seller points related to returns.

The ideal candidate will work independently, thrive in ambiguity, and influence partners at all levels. Key qualities include strong analytical skills, relationship-building, project management, results orientation, innovation, complex problem-solving ability, ownership, high standards, customer obsession, and adaptability.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Establish end-to-end knowledge of FBA Customer Returns, Seller pain points, and major cost drivers.

  2. Identify and lead scalable solutions to reduce customer returns.

  3. Define input metrics, assign owners, align goals, and monitor progress with stakeholders.

  4. Create mechanisms for visibility on defect reduction initiatives and performance.

  5. Collaborate with Operations and Tech teams to develop a product roadmap aimed at reducing defects and enhancing Seller Experience.

  6. Forecast defect reduction plans and assess financial impacts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of product, program, or project management experience.

  • Proficiency in using data and metrics to drive improvements.

  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and reporting results to senior leadership.

  • 3+ years leading large, complex programs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA in business, operations, HR, organizational development, instructional design, or related fields.

  • Experience managing finance or technology process improvements with aggressive schedules.
