Job Description



We are looking for a highly skilled Payments Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in the payments industry and agile methodologies to drive business analysis and solutions design, contributing significantly to our Scrum activities.



Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the business analyst pool/team effectively.
• Contribute to Scrum activities including sprint planning, sprint ceremonies, retrospectives, and stand-ups.
• Demonstrate expertise in SEPA ACH and payments industry knowledge.
• Design and coordinate Jira reporting with Development and DevOps leads for epics, stories, and tasks.
• Capture, analyse, and document business processes, converting them into user stories.
• Design solutions or change interventions and manage change activities including stakeholder engagement and timeline planning.
• Devise change interventions such as training and communication strategies.
• Track and document progress, manage status reporting, and implement solutions.
• Provide support to the technical team and manage support staff, ensuring effective resource utilisation.
• Define analysis approaches to solve problems and collaborate with multi-skilled teams to achieve goals.
• Produce component-level flows in the form of Swimlane diagrams to define payment processing sequences.
• Translate requirements into functional user stories with correctly defined acceptance criteria.
• Perform root cause analysis of failures and recommend improvements.
• Maintain a big-picture, end-to-end thinking approach.
• Work closely with solution delivery and production support teams to ensure all new software is well understood and supported.
• Review test cases and test results to ensure requirements are met.

Essential Skills

• Payments industry experience.
• Agile methodology expertise.
• SEPA ACH knowledge.
• Expertise in Jira and Confluence at designer level.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with SWIFT.
• Ability to manage change activities and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication skills.
