At B. Braun we play a critical part in protecting and improving the lives of patients. We are currently looking for people to work in our Production Unit to help get essential supplies out to our healthcare customers.
You will be part of the training team delivering effective training packages to team members on the manufacture of sterile product to feed patients both in Hospital and at home in support of the Hospital Care business. Teamwork is key – You will be part of a large manufacturing team and this means getting involved, working together and caring for your team mates. You will be working in a sterile manufacturing facility.
Job Title: Operator Trainer
Department: Production Unit
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week. There is a requirement to work 2 Saturdays a year in November/December. We work all bank holidays except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
Location: Thorncliffe Park, Sheffield, S35 2PW – located just off Junction 35A off the M1. We offer free car parking, transport links, an on-site canteen serving hot and cold food/drinks, career progression and development opportunities.

Here Is What You Can Expect To Be Doing
- Delivering structure training packages on a one to one, or group basis
- Ensure standards are maintained through active coaching and provided feedback to operators
- Maintain annual observation matrix and training matrix
- Ensure all materials and paperwork are available prior to training sessions
- Assist in re-training and/or re-validation of existing staff
- Perform observations on Production staff and maintain documentation
- Acts as a mentor and co-ordinate induction training for new operators
- To ensure Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to all at times, and act as a role model to all operators
- Liaise with managers to identify training needs
- Have experience in training
- Have the enthusiasm and drive to inspire others to achieve their best
- Effective communication is key and you must be able to communicate with people of all grades
- Be organised and self sufficient
- Be engaging, encouraging others to actively participate in the training.
- Experience within a production or manufacturing is desirable
