The Program Manager supports the Security Program Management Launch team for all Amazon Fulfilment Locations in the UK & IRE. Responsibilities include developing security frameworks, managing information security, security operations, systems, policies, and responses.


Technical expertise across multiple security domains is essential. You should be a leading industry expert in at least one core area of security as defined by the Common Body of Knowledge (CBK):



  1. Physical Access Control Systems

  2. Intruder detection systems

  3. Physical Security hardware

  4. Security Management Practices

  5. Security tendering process

  6. Information Security principles

  7. Operational Security

  8. Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning

  9. Law, Investigations, and Ethics

  10. Physical Security

  11. Health & Safety and project considerations


The role requires quick response to interruptions, sound judgment under pressure, and thriving in dynamic environments. Key expectations include:



  • Applying and teaching best practices in physical security management

  • Maintaining industry-leading skills

  • Managing multiple priorities effectively

  • Promoting security awareness within the company

  • Focusing on enabling business goals

  • Identifying root causes of issues and understanding broader contexts

  • Staying updated on security threats and innovations

  • Understanding regulatory landscapes

  • Contributing to security policy development


Key responsibilities involve:



  • Leading physical security system projects across EMEA

  • Managing external vendors and internal stakeholders

  • Ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness


Daily activities include supporting the implementation of security systems, managing project teams, and ensuring standards are met. The team collaborates to secure the Amazon supply chain, standardize security practices, and improve infrastructure to support rapid business growth.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams

  • Data-driven approach to program improvement

  • Proven project or program management skills

  • Experience in process automation and standardization


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience delivering results to senior leadership

  • Process improvement and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to build processes and manage schedules
