We are looking for a highly focused Engineer to join our B. Braun Technical Services team based in Sheffield. You will be responsible for the service and repair of a range of medical devices, initially focusing on surgical Power tools and laparoscopic camera systems with the option to expand to other areas such as dialysis machines or infusion pumps, to meet the needs of the business.
Location:Chambers Way, Chapeltown, Sheffield, S35 2PH. We offer free car parking and transport links.
Working Hours:Mon-Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Contract:Permanent
This will include:
- Ensuring the highest levels of repair quality are maintained at all times.
- Interacting with customers as required to deliver the highest levels of service and support.
- Working as part of the Technical Services Team, to ensure that key performance indicators such as repair turnaround times, are met.
- Proactively seeking to improve the process’ and service provided by B. Braun Technical Services.
- Adhering to standard operating procedures and policies.
- Ensuring the working environment is maintained in a clean and organised manner.
- Completing administration, ensuring accuracy of working time and stock.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Be experienced and skilled in providing comprehensive technical repair and servicing of electrical /electronic systems.
- A focus on excellent customer service.
- Strong organisational skills, ensuring key service targets and requirements are met accurately and consistently.
- Excellent team player attributes with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work confidently using your own initiative and be committed to delivering the highest levels of service support.
- A relevant Engineering Apprenticeship is desirable, but not essential as knowledge could be gained through proven experience.
- Further education in engineering (City & Guilds / BTec etc) and/or OEM Medical Device repair/maintenance training is desirable, but not essential.
