Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - #1711159

Elevation have the pleasure of working with an industry leading business in Sheffield, who are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with immediate effect!

Salary: £47,000 - £48,000

Location: Sheffield

Hours: Days and afters with occasional nights - 1 in 10 weeks

Duties of a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Being proactive within the job focussing on preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance of the infrastructure and Mechanical Control Systems
• Attending to breakdowns
• Actively working on a continual improvement project to ensure yourself and the company are the best it can be!
• Dealing with PPM’s
• Working within a team environment

Desired experience:

• You must have at least Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ based)
• Must have experience working as an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role previously
• Have experience of fault finding withing previous roles
• Must have experience of working within a manufacturing environment previously
• Must be happy to work occasional nights for peak times (1 in 10 weeks)
• Great communication skills (reading and spoken English is Essential)
• You must be open minded and flexible to change with the needs and growth of the business
