Salary: £60,000 with an OTE of £100k

Airship is a hospitality-focused SaaS (software as a service) company - with our head office in Sheffield but with our commercial team spread all across the country. We are proud to be part of the Zonal family.
We have two industry-leading products that support over 800 hospitality brands. We integrate with 120+ supporting platforms that enable us to seamlessly sell and redeem gift cards on Toggle and to centralise customer data to drive visit frequency through smart communication on Airship.
About the Role
We need a driven and strategic leader to oversee our sales function, with a specific focus on generating new business. This role will ensure we continue to grow our client base and revenue. You’ll manage a team of two Business Development Managers (BDMs), refine our sales strategy, create and nurture a pipeline of enterprise opportunities and work closely with our partners, professional network and colleagues at Zonal. This role will report to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver on company sales targets and revenue growth.
- Manage, mentor, and support our BDMs, helping them convert customer opportunities and build strong pipelines.
- Continue to refine and optimise the sales strategy, processes, and performance metrics.
- Develop and maintain key relationships with high-value prospects and partners.
- Work closely with marketing to align campaigns with sales efforts.
- Monitor sales performance using Pipedrive CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Identify new revenue opportunities within existing and new customer segments.
- Network in the industry by attending trade shows and conferences to be the brand ambassador for the business.
About You
- Proven experience in a B2B SaaS sales leadership role (preferably in hospitality or tech).
- A track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing and coaching a high-performing sales team.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to refine sales strategies.
- Someone who can work a room, ensuring that relationships are naturally developed.
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Experience using CRM tools such as Pipedrive or similar.
