A Day in the Life as a Sales Account Manager:

You’ll be joining the national Road Freight sales team, where you’ll have the freedom to build your own client base and develop it into a high-performing portfolio. This is your opportunity to treat your patch like your own business – with the backing of an established brand behind you.

  • Build and nurture your own customer base across your region

  • Use CRM tools, research, and networking to identify and qualify new leads

  • Pick up the phone, get out on the road, and meet prospects to win business

  • Prepare bespoke quotes and convert leads into long-term relationships

  • Manage and grow your accounts in year one – with the goal of becoming their go-to partner

  • After 12 months, shift gears to focus on bringing in fresh business and handing over accounts to the service team

  • You’re a confident, outgoing personality who thrives in a target-driven environment

  • You’ve got a full UK driving licence

  • You bring some field sales experience (ideally in freight or logistics) – or you’re a quick learner with a passion for the sector

  • You’re resilient, hungry to succeed, and genuinely enjoy building relationships

  • You’re a natural communicator – on the phone, over email, and face-to-face
