Amazon's global compliance analytics team is looking a Business Analytics Manager to lead data experts to support global compliance and supply chain.
This high-visibility role will be responsible for supporting local data management, report creation, and strategic analytic needs that teams across global stakeholder teams
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will lead and develop a team of Data Experts to accomplish business team's goals and charters. You will learn the ins and outs of all facets of global supply and compliance, and be a trusted partner to teams by sharing data-driven insights and actions based on deep understanding of the business. You will hire and develop talents to deliver strong results ranging from reporting, automated insight generation, advanced analytics, comprehensive datasets, at standards that raise the bar for the rest of the organization.
- Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc.
- Partner with operations/business teams to consult, develop and implement key performance indicators (KPI’s), automated reporting/process solutions and data infrastructure improvements to meet business needs.
- Apply analytic skill to extract meaningful insights and learnings from large and complicated data sets.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- 5+ years of business analytics experience
- 3+ years of delivering results managing a business analytics team
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with ETL
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master of Business Administration from tier 1/tier 2 college Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/ Black Belt PMP/Prince Certified
- Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software
- 5 + years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures and hands-on SQL coding experience
