About the Role: Joining a highly skilled inspection team, you will primarily operate CMM equipment to carry out precision measurements, alongside manual inspection tasks using a range of hand tools. This role offers a real opportunity to be hands-on with state-of-the-art machinery and software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CMM machines (Mitutoyo and Hexagon models) using PC-DMIS and Cosmos software.
• Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections, ensuring compliance with stringent customer and internal specifications.
• Interpret detailed technical drawings and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
• Use handheld measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, and plug gauges to verify critical dimensions.
• Support CNC machining activities where necessary.
• Maintain high standards of record-keeping and ensure equipment remains within calibration.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Previous experience working within a precision manufacturing environment is essential.
• Confident using both manual and automated inspection techniques.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Background high-tolerance sectors would be highly advantageous.
• Good IT skills, especially for reporting and recording inspection results.
• A proactive attitude with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
