Based at our 64-acre site in Sheffield, we are seeking an Occupational Health Nurse Advisor. This role involves providing a range of Occupational Health services and advice to meet the needs of both the company and its employees.
Role Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with company and departmental policies through the delivery of OH services.
- Advise management and employees on policies related to Occupational Health and Safety.
- Promote workplace health and well-being.
- Collaborate with the Occupational Health Physician and Physiotherapist on improvement plans.
- Support management in investigating work-related ill health.
- Conduct drug and alcohol testing in line with company policies.
- Contribute to site risk assessments to ensure OH risks are managed.
- Manage referrals for sickness absence or work-related ill health or injury.
- Provide advice and recommendations for effective return to work.
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee OH records in accordance with GDPR, NMC, and company standards.
About You
The following skills, knowledge, and experience are required:
- Registered Nurse qualification.
- Occupational Health qualification.
- Accreditation in Audiometry and Spirometry.
- Experience in HAVS assessment, drug & alcohol testing, biological monitoring, and vision screening is advantageous.
- Proficiency in IT, including MS Office and OH software.
Days/Hours of Work
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times between 06:15 - 09:30 and 14:30 – 18:00.
