About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant Garment Technologist to support our Garment Technology Team. The role involves administrative support throughout the production process, working closely with designers, manufacturers, and production teams to ensure products meet quality, fit, and production standards, while maintaining delivery deadlines
Responsibilities
Ensure proto, fit, and Gold Seals meet specifications and brand standards
Support the team with fit comments, specifications, amendments, and size charts, communicating effectively with the supply base
Experience with PLM systems is advantageous
Ensure test reports are available for all materials and components at the proto stage
Coordinate bulk and garment testing, considering quality and costs
Conduct wearer trials on new fabrics or high-risk styles and take appropriate actions
Visit warehouses and stores regularly to assess quality and compliance
Review quality reports and feedback for continuous improvement
Coordinate fit reviews to ensure consistency and correctness of the brand’s fit
Prioritize workload according to schedules and critical paths
Maintain professional relationships with internal teams and supply chain partners
Organize departmental files and keep the workstation tidy
