Dovehaven are currently recruiting for a Clinical Lead RGN at our Dovehaven Lodge Nursing Home in Ingol, Preston. Working days and maybe some nights , 8-8 with every other weekend involved, including supernumerary hours. On-call will be on a rota basis. 48-hour contract available

Dovehaven Lodge is a Nursing home catering for up to 112 residents, specialising in dementia care. Our aim is to ensure all residents feel comfortable. We promote independence, dignity, and respect through positive risk-taking and empowerment
About the Role:
You will assist the Registered Home Manager in managing and developing high-quality services, leading the staff team, and instilling a culture of care and continuous improvement. You will work with residents, families, and staff to develop a centre of excellence for person-centred care
You will ensure high standards of care, fulfill the duties of the Home Manager when required, and ensure compliance with CQC guidelines, managing the home efficiently
Duties and Responsibilities:
Experience in a similar environment, demonstrating leadership, motivation, and staff development
Must be a qualified RGN with a valid NMC PIN, capable of providing hands-on nursing/care
Understanding of leadership in elderly/social care, with excellent communication skills
Proven management experience and relevant qualifications
Self-motivated, resilient, well-organized, dependable, and flexible
Familiarity with company policies and regulatory frameworks, ensuring compliance
Monitor and update care plans, risk assessments, audits, and outcome measures regularly
Conduct audits on care quality and present findings at management meetings
Build a positive reputation and liaise professionally with visitors, families, and external stakeholders
