Freelance MRICS Building Surveyor - #1771846

We have immediate opportunities available for either MRICS or FRICS chartered surveyors nationwide. These are long-term, freelance/self-employed roles with exceptional earning potential.

Our client has developed an easy-to-use, question-based, iOS on-site software that is fully court compliant. This tool enables concise information capture during visits, eliminating the need for longhand reports and Scott Schedules to be typed out later.

These roles are ideally suited for surveyors looking to expand their experience in building pathology and expert witness work. The current work portfolio mainly covers housing disrepair, but also includes large loss surveying and related disciplines.

This is a remote, freelance role for an MRICS or FRICS Building Surveyor. You will be responsible for inspecting houses and apartments, conducting surveys, assessing defects, and producing repair specifications. You will work independently with full support from a dedicated team.

• Hold an MRICS or FRICS professional designation.


• Extensive experience in Building Surveying.


• Understanding of HHSRS and the Landlord & Tenant Act 1985.


• Experience in producing repair specifications.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Apple iOS devices, and comfortable with remote work technology.

• Fast payment upon submission of your accepted report (usually within 48 hours).
