Site Engineer - #1774458

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a major Earthworks and Highways package based in Sheffield. The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of a high-profile infrastructure project, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out for Earthworks, Drainage, and Highways works

• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications

• Monitoring subcontractors and ensuring compliance with design and quality standards

• Carrying out site inspections and maintaining accurate site records

• Assisting in the preparation of as-built drawings and reports

• Ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance on site

Requirements:

• Proven experience in similar Site Engineering roles within Civil Engineering

• Strong knowledge of Earthworks and Highways projects

• Proficient in the use of surveying equipment (e.g., Leica, Trimble)

• CSCS card

• SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred but not essential)

• Right to work in the UK

Contract Details:

• Start: Immediate

• Duration: 6 months (potential for extension)

• Rate: £400 – £420 per day (LTD / CIS basis)
