Are you a Tooling Engineer? Do you have experience producing high-speed multistage stamping tools? Are you confident working within a fast paced NPI driven environment?
If so, a company based in Sheffield is seeking an experienced toolmaker/tooling engineer to join their ever-growing team. This role will be critical to the business and will be collaborating closely with NPI and tool design teams to ensure tooling’s is feasible and optimised for production

Tooling Engineer
The Tooling Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
Diagnosing and resolving issues related to piercing and forming in multistage progressive stamping tools
Working very closely with NPI and Tool design to ensure tooling is appropriate for use, alongside effecting and optimised
Working with the toolroom supervisor in improvements and tooling conditions/status
Coaching and training apprentices and junior toolmakersTooling Engineer
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills:
Experience with high-speed, multistage progressive stamping tools
Tool design knowledge/experience (desirable)Company Benefits/Package:
