Job Title: Welder Fabricator - Truck Body Builder (MIG & Aluminium Welding experience)

Weekly pay rate:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00
• Friday: 07:00 – 15:00
• Total: 39 hours per week
• Overtime available, paid at time and a half
  
  

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder Fabricator with proven experience in MIG and Aluminium welding to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position following a successful 3-month probationary period. The ideal candidate will take pride in their craftsmanship and have the ability to work from SolidWorks drawings (preferred but not essential).

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble truck bodies to high standards using MIG and Aluminium welding techniques
• Work from technical drawings and specifications (SolidWorks experience preferred)
• Operate workshop tools and machinery safely and efficiently
• Ensure builds meet quality, safety, and customer specifications
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets

Requirements

• Proven experience in MIG and Aluminium welding
• Experience building truck bodies or similar fabrications
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (SolidWorks preferred)
• Good attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Must provide your own safety boots (all other PPE and tools provided)
