Key Account Supervisor - #1780953

Location: Sheffield, UK

Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 (DOE)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 9:00am-5:00pm

My client is offering a fantastic package to for someone to help support their business operations, customer service requirements and lead a team of devoted key account managers. The right candidate will be someone with a strong background in Account Management and/or sales and have demonstrable leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support a team of customer service coordinators and account managers to ensure smooth handling of client bookings, operations, invoicing, and general office efficiency.
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff handling customer queries, order processing, and account management to maintain high service standards and client satisfaction.
• Act as the main point of contact for key clients, ensuring timely service delivery, addressing escalated issues, and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Oversee the accurate processing of invoices and manage credit control activities, including chasing overdue payments and coordinating with clients to resolve billing issues.
• Set priorities, delegate tasks, and monitor performance metrics to support productivity, team development, and service quality.
• Help identify ways to improve day-to-day operations, encourage efficient working methods, and ensure the team follows correct procedures for managing customer service and operations.
  
  

Requirements

• Previous Leadership Experience at a Team Lead or Supervisor level.
• Experience in Key Account Management or Sales.
• Strong Customer Service Experience.
• Experience invoicing clients and credit control is desirable, but not essential.
