Key Responsibilities Of AnEYFS Level 2 Teaching Assistant
- Providing 1:1 and small group interventions for pupils with special educational needs
- Supporting childrens learning and development in the classroom and during interventions
- Implementing tailored strategies and resources
- Assisting the class teacher in creating an inclusive and nurturing environment
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Working closely with SENCOs, class teachers, and external professionals where required
- Experience working with children with SEND in a primary school or EYFS setting
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to learning support
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent experience)
- An enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Availability for full-time, term-time work
