My client is a leading manufacturer of thermocouples and high temperature sensors and measurement equipment based in Sheffield. They are now looking to hire an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to bolster their in-house team. The ideal candidate will come from a proven Technical Sales background, have experience in both winning new business and nurturing key accounts, be capable in producing estimations and quotations and will ideally have existing thermocouple / temperature sensor knowledge.

Technical Sales Engineer Job Overview
- Building and maintaining relationships with a range of customers
- Identifying customer needs and providing tailored solutions and accurate quotations
- Developing proposals, including cost estimations and technical documentation
- Providing in-depth technical guidance on company products
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges, both as pre- and post-sales support functions
- Maintaining comprehensive records of customer interactions, solutions offered and sales progress.
- Previous experience in Technical Sales is essential
- Knowledge of Engineering standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 17025 and AMS 2750
- Strong negotiation, Customer engagement and account management skills
- Proficient in delivering presentation and product demonstrations
- A familiarity with using a CRM system as well as Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of AutoCAD would be beneficial
- Based within a commutable distance of Sheffield
- Salary £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
- 33 Days holiday inclusive of public holidays
- Monday - Thursday 08:15 - 16:45, Friday 08:15 - 14:15
- Pension
