HGV Class 1 Tramper - #1797732

We are currently recruiting for dependable and experiencedClass 1 HGV Drivers for Tramping, days or nightsto join our clients transport operation based inRugby. This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity for drivers looking for consistentMonday to Friday tramping workwith excellent pay and steady routes.

The role involves nationwide trunking, with overnight stays in the vehicle throughout the working week. You'll be responsible for ensuring timely and safe deliveries while maintaining vehicle condition and accurate records.

Days/Nights - General haulage in a curtainside or container unit.

Higher rates on Weekends and Bank Holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake long-distance Class 1 deliveries and collections across the UK.
• Tramp Monday to Friday, sleeping in the vehicle overnight.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects as necessary.
• Complete all delivery documentation accurately and return it promptly.
• Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding routes and delivery schedules.
• Comply with all driving regulations, tachograph rules, and Working Time Directive.
  
  

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Up-to-date CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Minimum of 6 months Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence (no DD, DR, or IN endorsements).
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with overnight tramping.
