What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting lead qualification, routing, and administration processes for Synopsys products in the UK market.
  • Engaging current accounts to develop relationship maps, use case opportunities, and expand awareness through direct account engagement and insight tools.
  • Generating new business opportunities through white space analysis and account-based marketing programmes, including targeted email and calling campaigns.
  • Following up on prospect enquiries, qualifying leads using sales and technical expertise, and scheduling meetings or demos as needed.
  • Collaborating on marketing plans and campaigns, ensuring customer engagement and event attendance (webinars, seminars, and tradeshows).
  • Partnering with Sales, Technical and Marketing teams to support achievement of sales targets and foster alignment.
  • Researching and identifying new market opportunities by engaging with prospect accounts and profiling new users.
  • Maintaining data integrity and optimizing CRM systems by updating lead/contact information and providing visibility into market opportunities.
  • Contributing to efficient and insightful reporting of lead aspects per territory.
  • Communicating to various stakeholders ongoing improvements to prospecting and qualifying lead processes.
  • Participating in special territory-specific projects and team responsibilities as directed.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of lead generation and qualification processes.
  • Support the expansion of referral networks and educational outreach within target accounts.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and teamwork within the sales development function.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field OR 4+ years’ experience in an inside sales/sales/presales environment of complex technical products.
  • Technical aptitude and/or 1 year of experience in an industrial/technical sales environment.
  • Excellent record of customer service and satisfaction, with proven ability to engage and nurture relationships.
  • Experience leveraging social media platforms to identify and engage key decision-makers.
  • Strong telephone etiquette, computer literacy, and familiarity with sales automation tools (e.g., Salesforce.com).
  • Understanding of the sales process and ability to qualify opportunities based on predetermined criteria.
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to travel 5-10% as required for events and customer engagement.
