Our client is a highly respected, independent letting agent with over 25 years of success in the Sheffield market. Known for their professional, friendly approach, they specialise in both Student and Residential lettings and operate from a busy, vibrant city-centre office.
Due to continued growth, they’re now looking for a Property Manager to join their dynamic and supportive team.
The RoleThis is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll manage your own portfolio of properties, acting as a key point of contact for landlords, tenants, and contractors while ensuring properties are compliant, well maintained, and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Managing and instructing repairs, maintenance, and property alterations
- Overseeing safety certifications and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Conducting property inspections and management visits
- Liaising daily with landlords, tenants, and contractors
- Managing tenant check-ins and check-outs, resolving issues and negotiating deposit returns
- Reviewing quotations, processing invoices, and updating internal systems
- Coordinating with utility providers during tenant changeovers
- Assisting with viewings as required to support the lettings team
This role would suit someone who is practical, organised, and confident, with either:
- Experience in property management or a similar environment, or
- A recent graduate from a property-related course with strong administrative or customer service skills
You’ll be comfortable working independently, managing priorities, and communicating professionally — with empathy and attention to detail.
Skills & Experience- Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and online systems
- Well-presented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A proactive, “can-do” attitude
- Previous property management, office, or customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of lettings regulations desirable
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Full UK driving licence and own car essential
- 21 days holiday + bank holidays, rising to 25 days with service
