Location: Sheffield (with nationwide travel)

WHY HAVE THE VACANCIES ARISEN?

Due to high workload, our new CCTV Division now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior CCTV Surveyor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB ROLE:

• Carry out CCTV drainage inspection surveys of foul water, surface water, and combined water drainage systems, using crawler and push-rod camera systems.
• Working on a variety of sites including commercial properties, residential properties, farmland, heritage sites, schools, airports, military bases and prisons. 
• On site and office coding of pipe defects in accordance with MSCC5 or specific client standards.
• Accurately measure pipe dimensions, material types, flow conditions, and structural integrity
• Carry out manhole surveys to STC25 standard
• Carry out GPS survey to accurately position and record levels
• Produce clear, detailed, and professional survey reports using WinCan software
• Upload, manage, and maintain digital survey data within internal and client systems
• Carry out confined space operations where required
• Carry out traffic management operations to chapter 8 where required
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation, company procedures, and environmental standards

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 2 years’ proven experience as a CCTV Surveyor within the drainage or utilities sector
• Certified to OS19X minimum, further training will be offered to the right candidate
• Strong working knowledge of MSCC5 defect coding and condition grading
• Experience with WinCan VX reporting software
• Experience with using Pearpoint CCTV equipment desirable
• Confident in identifying structural defects, infiltration, root ingress, fractures, deformation, and service defects
• Experience of surveying large diameter sewers desirable, but training can be offered to right candidate

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary site team
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Confined Space and CSCS accreditation (desirable)
• Candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS application for working on schools, military bases and prisons.
