Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting an electronics business in Sheffield who is looking for a Operations Director to join their growing team.

The Role

This is a key leadership role focused on driving operational performance, guiding products from initial development through to full-scale production, supporting the company’s growth plans, and continuously improving the efficiency and effectiveness of site operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Work cross functionally to manage the full product lifecycle
• Building scalable processes to support new products and higher volumes
• Leading and developing multidisciplined teams
• Owning S&OP processes and collaborating on demand forecasting
• Driving operational readiness for new product introductions
• Improving and identifying cost reduction opportunities
• Managing supply chain risk and ensuring compliance with quality standards

The Person

We are keen to speak with Operation Directors with the following:

• Knowledge of electronics manufacturing
• Experience scaling from NPI to high volume production
• Familiarity with yield management, capacity planning and ERP or MRP systems
• Confident leadership skills with the ability to build and mentor teams
• A data led approach and strong cross functional communication
• Ability to operate in a high growth environment with evolving priorities
