Junior Project Manager (Technology & Delivery)

Location: Sheffield (hybrid, 1-2 days a week)
Salary: Up to £40,000 depending on experience plus benefits

Junior Project Manager Responsibilities

* Support the planning and coordination of projects across technology and operational teams
* Maintain project documentation including plans, trackers, risk logs, and status updates
* Monitor timelines, dependencies, and deliverables, escalating risks or delays where needed
* Organise and facilitate meetings, workshops, and governance activities
* Prepare agendas, capture notes, and track actions through to completion
* Assist with reporting updates for stakeholders and leadership teams
* Work alongside technical teams to track progress against priorities and delivery cycles
* Support testing, releases, and implementation activities
* Help document processes, workflows, and system updates
* Assist with issue tracking and ensure actions are followed through to resolution

Junior Project Manager Requirements

* Strong organisational and administrative capability
* Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-moving environment
* High attention to detail with a strong focus on follow-through
* Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools
* Experience using project or collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, Monday.com, or similar
* Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desirable Skills

* Previous experience in a project coordination, PMO, or junior project role
* Exposure to technology, digital, or systems-based projects
* Awareness of Agile or other delivery methodologies
* Experience supporting workshops, testing, or change initiatives
* Familiarity with reporting processes, dashboards, or project governance
