Solutions Architect - Cloud & Infrastructure | £600-£700p/day (Inside IR35) | 6 months (Initially) | Sheffield

We're looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to lead cloud and infrastructure solution design across pre-sales, delivery and Managed Services transition.

Key responsibilities

• Lead solution design across Azure, Microsoft 365, AVD/RDS, Windows Server, networking and security
• Validate technical scope and feasibility early in the project lifecycle
• Lead the end-to-end design of cloud and infrastructure solutions, from initial pre-sales engagement through to delivery
• Manage risk, dependencies and act as the escalation point for complex technical issues
• Ensure solutions are documented and ready for support handover

Key experience

• Hands-on experience delivering Azure and cloud infrastructure solutions
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, identity, security, AVD/RDS, Windows Server, Active Directory and hybrid networking
• Clear communicator comfortable engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong understanding of networking, firewalls and hybrid connectivity

Nice to have

• Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, MS-100/101) or working towards them
• Background in an MSP, VAR, or IT services environment
• Familiarity with Azure governance, cost optimisation, and pre-sales support
