JRS Associates have partnered up with an exciting manufacturing company to recruit a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their established engineering team. The Successful Maintenance Engineer – Package:

• £43,836 to £47,400 per annum 


• Rotating Shift Pattern:
  
  
  
  • Days: 6:00am – 2:00pm
  
  
  • Lates: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
  
  
  • Nights: 8:45pm – 6:00am (4 nights per week)
  
  
  
  


• Overtime Available:
  
  
  
  • 1.3x for the first 2 hours
  
  
  • 1.5x on all hours worked above 39.5 per week

The Successful Maintenance Engineer – Requirements:

• Recognised apprenticeship within Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance


• Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance within a manufacturing environment


• Ability to fault find and repair mechanical equipment


• Knowledge of PLCs, plant control systems and automated machinery would be advantageous


• Ability to carry out electrical installation work when required


• Experience responding to breakdowns and minimising downtime


• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a maintenance team


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Computer literate with the ability to use maintenance systems and production data


• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving
