Materials Manager – Sheffield – Competitive Salary

Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be partnering exclusively with a world-leading specialist manufacturer based near Sheffield, who is looking to recruit a Materials Manager to join their team.

As Materials Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of raw materials, consumables and stock movements across the site.

• Full-time Monday to Friday with a 1:30pm finish every Friday

The Role

• Maintaining accurate inventory records and overseeing all stock movements, including receipts, issuance and transfers
• Conducting regular cycle counts, stock audits and inventory checks on high-value materials
• Monitoring stock levels and liaising with purchasing and manufacturing to support production schedules
• Overseeing Goods In and Out, storage practices, documentation and labelling
• Using ERP systems to generate inventory reports and flag purchasing requirements
• Leading and developing a small warehouse team, driving performance, housekeeping standards and continuous improvement

The Person

• 3+ years of experience in materials and inventory control
• Experience leading and managing a warehouse team
• Strong analytical approach with excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicator who can engage effectively with both the shop floor and senior stakeholders
