Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a well-established charitable organisation as they look to recruit a Finance Projects Assistant to support a number of key finance and systems improvement initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transactional finance professional who enjoys working with financial data, improving processes, and supporting system enhancements. Working closely with the Financial Controller and Systems Lead, you will play a key role in ongoing finance projects, helping to streamline billing and purchase order processes while supporting data migration activities across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support finance-related projects focused on improving processes and efficiencies.
- Assist with the migration and validation of financial data within ERP systems.
- Help streamline billing and purchase order processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Work closely with the Financial Controller and Systems Lead to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Review and maintain financial data, ensuring accuracy and integrity throughout system changes.
- Support testing and implementation of new processes and system improvements.
- Provide transactional finance support where required.
About You:
- Previous experience within a transactional finance role, ideally within Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or a similar function.
- Experience using ERP systems and working with financial data.
- Exposure to process improvement, systems implementation, or data migration projects would be highly advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good understanding of finance processes and controls.
- Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Self-motivated and comfortable managing workload within a remote working environment.
