Delivery Lead – Engineering Standards & Practice - Contract role
Overview
An experienced Delivery Lead is required to drive engineering standards, governance, and best practices across a portfolio of delivery teams.
This role plays a key part in a broader transformation, helping define and implement consistent, scalable ways of working across engineering pods.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives focused on engineering standards and delivery excellence
- Define and implement best practices and governance frameworks
- Work across multiple pods to ensure consistency in delivery approach
- Partner with engineering and business stakeholders to improve efficiency and outcomes
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and operating model
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Delivery Lead, Senior Project Manager, or Engineering Lead
- Strong understanding of the software delivery lifecycle and engineering environments
- Experience driving process improvement and standardisation
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to operate in a complex enterprise environment
Highly Desirable
- Financial services experience
- Experience working in large-scale transformation programmes
