Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a growing and ambitious business in the search for an experienced Personal Assistant / Executive Assistant to support the CEO.


This is a highly visible and trusted role, offering the opportunity to work closely with a dynamic senior leader and play a key part in the day-to-day running of the business. You'll act as a true business partner, ensuring priorities are managed effectively, schedules run seamlessly, and key stakeholders receive a first-class experience.


No two days will be the same. From coordinating international travel and supporting board-level meetings to managing executive communications and driving administrative excellence, this is a varied role that would suit a proactive, highly organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

Executive Support

  • Act as a trusted right-hand support to the CEO, proactively managing priorities and ensuring their time is used effectively.
  • Provide comprehensive executive support across business and, where required, personal commitments.
  • Manage a complex and ever-changing diary, balancing multiple priorities and responding quickly to changing demands.
  • Handle confidential correspondence and communications with professionalism, discretion and sound judgement.
  • Anticipate needs, identify potential challenges and implement practical solutions before issues arise.
  • Continually review and improve ways of working to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.

Board & Leadership Support

  • Coordinate and support board meetings, leadership meetings and executive forums from planning through to follow-up.
  • Prepare agendas, board packs, presentations and briefing materials.
  • Take ownership of action tracking, ensuring deadlines are monitored and key stakeholders remain accountable.
  • Provide administrative and organisational support to enable effective decision-making at senior leadership level.

Travel & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage complex UK and international travel arrangements, including detailed itineraries and contingency planning.
  • Build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders, clients, suppliers and external partners.
  • Act as a professional ambassador for the CEO and wider business.
  • Coordinate high-profile visits, meetings and events, ensuring every detail is delivered to a high standard.

Business & Administrative Support

  • Prepare presentations, reports, correspondence and business documentation.
  • Manage expenses, invoicing and purchase order processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Maintain effective filing systems, records and administrative processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement across administrative procedures and support functions.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll be an experienced Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant with a proven track record of supporting senior leaders within a fast-paced environment.

You'll be highly organised, naturally proactive and confident managing competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.


You'll also bring:

  • Previous experience supporting C-suite executives.
  • Outstanding diary management and organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience coordinating complex domestic and international travel.
  • Experience supporting board or executive-level meetings, including minute taking and action tracking.
  • Strong administrative and financial administration experience.
  • The ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • High levels of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.


Desirable Experience

  • Supporting office operations or wider business functions.
  • Planning corporate events, company-wide activities or group travel.
  • Working within a scaling or high-growth business.
  • Exposure to project management tools or CRM systems.
