A Yorkshire Council are seeking an exceptional leader to take on the role of Head of Regeneration at a pivotal moment. With a proven track record of securing significant national and regional funding, alongside major Council and private sector investment, they are delivering one of the most ambitious regeneration programmes in the North. This role offers a rare opportunity to lead a team of regeneration professionals to drive opportunities and project delivery for long-term inclusive economic growth for our communities.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Lead and manage the Council’s high-performing Regeneration Service.
• Deliver complex regeneration programmes and capital projects.
• Develop and implement regeneration strategies and investment plans.
• Provide expert advice to senior leaders and elected members.
• Build strong partnerships across public and private sectors.
• Manage budgets and ensure value for money.
• Drive innovation and service improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Significant senior leadership experience in regeneration or economic development.
• Proven delivery of large-scale regeneration programmes.
• Strong understanding of local government and political context.
• Experience of strategic planning and service transformation.
• Strong financial and budget management skills.
• Excellent partnership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
