Supply Chain Administrator (18-Month Fixed Term Contract)

Salary: Up to £30,000
Hours: Full Time | Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm | Friday 8:30am – 1:30pm
Contract: 18-Month Fixed-Term Contract with potential for permanent employment
Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be supporting a leading manufacturer in the search for a Supply Chain Administrator to join their established Supply Chain team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to develop a long-term career within supply chain and operations.
About the Role
Based at the company's Sheffield site, you will be part of a collaborative Supply Chain team that supports multiple manufacturing locations. You'll work closely with a Contract Coordinator, Production Planner, Customer Service Delivery Planners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders across four sites.
This is a highly visible role within the business, offering exposure to a wide range of departments and processes. You'll be responsible for ensuring the accurate administration of supply chain activities while maintaining the exceptionally high standards of documentation required within the sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Raise requisitions and purchase orders for outsourced production activities
- Process goods receipts and book completed orders back onto site
- Communicate regularly with subcontractors and suppliers regarding orders and delivery schedules
- Maintain subcontractor performance scorecards
- Reconcile supplier invoices to support timely payment processing
- Review documentation for accuracy and request amendments where necessary
- Support the administration of customer orders within the MRP system
- Assist with launching materials into production to support customer demand
- Maintain MRP data and support general system housekeeping
- Scan, file and maintain supply chain documentation in accordance with company procedures
- Work closely with planning, production and customer service teams to obtain updates and resolve issues
- Ensure all records meet stringent aerospace quality requirements and can be retained accurately for long-term traceability purposes
- Support compliance with company policies, procedures and health & safety standards
About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience within an administration, supply chain, planning, customer service or manufacturing support role
- Experience using MRP/ERP systems or confidence working with business systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across departments and with external suppliers
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise workload
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Confidence handling documentation where precision is critical
A background within production planning, manufacturing or supply chain environments would be particularly advantageous.
