Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a well established Sheffield business as they look to recruit a Temporary Billing Administrator to support their busy finance function. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team, gain valuable experience and make an immediate impact within a thriving organisation.


Conveniently located with excellent public transport links, this role is office-based five days per week and would suit someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative and energetic working environment.


The Role:

As Billing Administrator, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer invoices are processed accurately and on time. Working within a busy finance team, you'll be responsible for managing high volumes of billing activity while maintaining excellent attention to detail.


Key duties will include:

  • Raising and processing customer invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Managing billing queries and resolving discrepancies.
  • Updating customer and financial records.
  • Supporting the wider finance team with administrative tasks.
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure billing information is correct.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring deadlines are consistently met.


About You:

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience within billing, finance administration or a similar office based role.
  • Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Thrives in a fast paced, high volume environment.
  • Has strong communication skills and enjoys working as part of a team.
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Can hit the ground running and is available to start at short notice.
