A brand new, exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a progressive and expanding organisation.
Reporting directly into the CFO, this is a key leadership role within the finance function, offering the chance to influence strategic decision making while ensuring the business maintains robust financial governance and reporting.
More than a traditional finance role, this position is a trusted commercial partner to the wider business. You'll work alongside senior leaders to influence strategic decision making, provide meaningful financial insight and challenge performance to drive profitability and sustainable growth.
Combining strong financial controllership with a commercial mindset, you'll play a key role in shaping business strategy, improving operational performance and ensuring the finance function delivers real value across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Lead the annual budgeting cycle, regular forecasting and long term financial planning activities.
- Provide financial insight and strategic support to senior stakeholders, helping drive informed commercial decisions.
- Monitor business performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities through meaningful financial analysis.
- Manage cashflow forecasting and support effective financial planning across the organisation.
- Oversee statutory reporting, external audits and compliance with financial regulations.
- Review financial controls, reconciliations and accounting processes to ensure accuracy and continuous improvement.
- Develop and enhance financial reporting, modelling and business intelligence to support operational and strategic objectives.
- Champion improvements in finance systems, automation and reporting processes to increase efficiency.
- Mentor and support members of the finance team, promoting high standards and continuous development.
About You
You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience in financial control, audit and commercial finance.
You'll also have:
- Experience producing management and statutory accounts.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management.
- Confidence partnering with senior stakeholders across a business.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive approach to improving financial processes and controls.
- The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance colleagues.
