Operating from our modern, state-of-the-art facility in Broomhill, Sheffield, we produce over 400 highly nutritious, allergy-safe meals daily for nurseries and schools across the region. We pride ourselves on scratch-cooking, sugar-free desserts, and industry-leading dietary safeguarding.

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Assistant Chef to join our daytime kitchen team. Working closely with the Head Chef, you will play a crucial role in the high-volume preparation, cooking, and portioning of our daily EYFS-compliant menus.

• Assist in the high-volume, scratch-cooking preparation of our daily menus.
• Carefully prepare and package specific dietary and allergen-safe ("Mirror-Image") meals, strictly adhering to our cross-contamination and safety protocols.
• Accurately portion hot food into specialised thermal delivery containers to meet strict morning dispatch deadlines.
• Support comprehensive daily kitchen cleaning, pot-washing, and sanitisation routines to uphold our flawless EHO compliance standards.

• Proven experience working within a commercial kitchen or high-volume catering environment.
• A strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and modern allergy management.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene certification.
• Highly reliable, energetic, and capable of functioning efficiently within a fast-paced team.
• Available to commence employment immediately.
• A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is highly preferred.
