Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger professional looking to take the next step in your career, or an established Team Leader looking for a fresh challenge? Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Team Leader to join a well-established business in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a small team while remaining hands-on within the purchase ledger function, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the process.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading, mentoring and supporting the Purchase Ledger team.
• Overseeing the end-to-end purchase ledger process.
• Processing and approving high volumes of supplier invoices.
• Managing supplier statement reconciliations and resolving complex queries.
• Preparing and reviewing payment runs.
• Monitoring team performance and ensuring KPIs and deadlines are achieved.
• Supporting month-end activities.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies.
• Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company procedures.

We’re looking for someone with previous experience in a finance leadership role, who has a solid understanding of the end to end purchase ledger process. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong communication and stakeholder management skills, be confident using finance systems and be organisation with high attention to detail.
