Accounts Payable Manager - #2113455

A new fully remote role has become available due to internal promotion for an impressive not-for-profit organisation based in Yorkshire.
The position is for an Accounts Payable Manager to work within the UK finance team, overseeing an Accounts Payable Clerk and looking at process management and improvement.
You will be responsible for overseeing the full payment process including internal suppliers, invoices for external customers and expenses. You will be a hands-on manager who is happy to roll their sleeves up and get involved in the day-to-day invoice processing when required.
You will review all payment requests and liaise with budget holders to address errors or anomalies.
You will process all the approved payments for payment, report on payments and collate payments data to identify trends and issues.
A key part of the role is to review and improve the payments process, taking into account supplier needs, infrastructure developments and payment service provider capabilities.
This role is fully remote apart from in emergency situations and a week a year when you will be required to attend the office in Sheffield. With this in mind, the successful candidate will ideally be based within Yorkshire.

You will have recent and relevant experience of Accounts Payable Management in a high-volume invoice environment.
