Part Time Management Accountant - #2113537

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are working in partnership with a local, family run business that are looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Part Time Management Accountant.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant to play a key role in the preparation, analysis and reporting of monthly management accounts, while supporting the organisation's wider financial management processes. You'll help ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain effective financial controls, and contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. This role offers the chance to make a real impact while working closely with key stakeholders across the organisation.

Key duties include:

• Leading the month end process and preparation of monthly management accounts
• Cash flow analysis, accruals and prepayments, fixed assets etc
• Preparation of monthly balance sheet report and related commentary
• Leading the annual budget process and year-end forecast
• Reviewing weekly/monthly bank reconciliations and providing support as required
• Assisting with the annual audit preparations
• Preparation of quarterly VAT return
• Resolving accounting issues and discrepancies as they arise

The ideal candidate will have thorough experience of management accounting with experience working within a similar role. They will have a proactive manner with the ability to use their initiative and work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. Additionally, they will be confident working with all levels of staff across the organisation, including Directors.
