Teaching Assistant - Supply Roles Across a Sheffield Multi-Academy Trust

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking enthusiastic a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis across a welcoming and supportive Trust of schools in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience across a variety of educational settings.

The Role

As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Work with pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to support their learning and progress.
• Assist in creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support pupils with varying learning needs, including those with SEND where required.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement.
• Adapt confidently to different school environments across the Trust.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working within a primary or secondary school setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• A flexible and proactive approach to working across different schools.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their full potential.

Essential Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS Disclosure on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
