Regional Service Support Lead - #2121033
Chase Medical
Field-Based | Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm | £35,000 per annum
Chase Medical is recruiting on behalf of a growing domiciliary care provider for an experienced Regional Service Support Lead to provide hands-on operational support across a number of care services.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, Service Manager or Care Manager who enjoys being hands-on, solving problems and supporting services to deliver high standards of care, but is looking for a varied regional role rather than being responsible for one individual branch.
As Regional Service Support Lead, you'll work alongside different branches to provide additional operational support where it's needed most.
You could be supporting a service through a management vacancy, helping a growing branch implement new care packages, supporting a service through operational pressures or helping improve quality and compliance.
You'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact across multiple services while working closely with Registered Managers, Area Managers and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities* Provide hands-on operational support to services experiencing management vacancies, staffing challenges or operational pressures
* Support branches with service growth, mobilisation and the implementation of new care packages
* Complete client assessments, reviews, reassessments and welfare visits
* Support the development and review of person-centred care plans and risk assessments
* Assist with complaints, safeguarding concerns, incidents and service investigations
* Support branches with audits, inspections and quality improvement plans
* Assist with recruitment, interviews, onboarding and mentoring of managers and coordinators
* Conduct supervisions, spot checks, observations and competency assessments where required
* Support managers in embedding company processes, policies and operational standards
* Share best practice across services and contribute to continuous improvement
* Build strong relationships with clients, families, social workers, healthcare professionals and local authorities
About YouWe're looking for someone with strong experience within domiciliary care, community care or health and social care management.
You will ideally have:
* Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, Service Manager, Care Manager or similar
* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards
* Experience managing or supporting regulated care services
* Experience with assessments, care planning, risk assessments and service reviews
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* A proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused approach
* The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
* A flexible approach and willingness to travel between services
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or experience working towards this, would be advantageous.
Experience with PASS, CarePlanner or other care management systems would also be beneficial.
Why Consider This Role? This role offers the opportunity to take your existing management experience and use it across a wider group of services.
Rather than dealing with the same challenges within one branch every day, you'll be supporting different teams, helping services through periods of change and contributing directly to service improvement and growth.
It's particularly well suited to an experienced care manager who enjoys problem-solving, developing teams and improving services, and wants to take on a broader operational role.
